To coincide with their new exhibition the V&A present a short film looking at the man behind 20 years of unique photography of British Theatre - Simon Annand. Much of Annand's work concentrates on 'The Half', the thirty minute period before an actor goes on stage. The photographs follow the routines of actors from around Britian, from fringe to the West End, young to old, world famous to new faces, all in their own personal spaces as they prepare in 'The Half'.

New colour work

The new colour work to be shown at the V&A from THE HALF project, is creating a lot of interest - it is the first time a photographer has been allowed into Kiera's dressing room or trailer.

ARLES EXHIBITION

Just returned from Arles on a visit to see GALERIE HUIT where THE HALF exhibition will be showing from the 7th July. If you are in the area, come to the Private View on the 8th for a decidedly funky evening... This week also sees the press night of PETER PAN (Kensington Gardens), a spectacular production with an astonishing 360 degree CGI of Neverland and the pirate kingdom... it was a real pleasure to be making the photographs for this show.
